ServSafe® Certification Training

Working in a restaurant and need your certification? This is the course for you! The ServSafe Manager Certificate introduces students to sanitation in food preparation, food-borne illnesses, health regulations, and inspection procedures. The course includes the computer-based certification exam, which is available in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

Required textbook: ServSafe Manager Book, 7th Edition – with online exam voucher – updated with 2013 FDA Food Code (ESV7).

Culinary Program: Essentials Skills – “Get Ready to Work in the Food Industry!”

Using an industry-driven curriculum, this course includes culinary theory and hands-on experience. Course content will address the art and science of food preparation with topics that include cooking and baking principles, kitchen protocol and structure, fundamental concepts of food preparation, knife skills, and equipment use, as well as food safety and sanitation. Students will be provided with the opportunity to develop skills that are needed to be successful in the restaurant industry.
