Academic Calendars
The Academic Calendar is published annually for each academic year, fall, spring, and summer sessions. Listed on the calendar are the dates for the beginning of each term, holidays, faculty workdays, student vacation breaks, the days allowed for the dropping or adding of classes in a specific term, the date of graduation, and other dates pertinent to class attendance.

Spring 2027 Academic Calendar
Important academic dates for January through May 2027 are listed below.
January 2027
- Friday, January 1: New Year’s Day – College closed
- Monday, January 4: Faculty and staff return
- Tuesday, January 5: Registration, 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, January 8: Purge date for Full-Term and A-Term classes
- Monday, January 11: Full-Term and A-Term classes begin
- Thursday, January 14: Last day to add Full-Term and A-Term classes; drop deadline and last day for a 75% refund for A-Term classes
- Monday, January 18: Martin Luther King Jr. Day – College closed
- Friday, January 22: Drop deadline and last day for a 75% refund for Full-Term classes; purge date for Online-Term classes
- Monday, January 25: Online-Term classes begin
- Thursday, January 28: Last day to add Online-Term classes
February 2027
- Monday, February 1: Drop deadline and last day for a 75% refund for Online-Term classes
- Wednesday, February 10: Last day to withdraw from A-Term classes without penalty
March 2027
- Friday, March 5: A-Term classes end; purge date for B-Term classes
- Monday, March 8: B-Term classes begin
- Thursday, March 11: Last day to add B-Term classes
- Friday, March 12: Drop deadline and last day for a 75% refund for B-Term classes
- Thursday, March 18: Last day to withdraw from Full-Term classes without penalty
- Monday, March 22: Last day to withdraw from Online-Term classes without penalty; graduation applications due
- Sunday, March 28: Easter Sunday
- Monday, March 29: Easter Monday – College closed
- Tuesday, March 30 through Friday, April 2: Spring Break make-up days, if needed
April 2027
- Monday, April 12: Pre-registration for Summer and Fall 2027
- Wednesday, April 14: Last day to withdraw from B-Term classes without penalty
May 2027
- Friday, May 7: Full-Term, Online-Term, and B-Term classes end
- Monday, May 10: Final grades due by noon
- Thursday, May 13: Graduation rehearsal at 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, May 14: Graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, May 31: Memorial Day – College closed
Important Purge Notice
Students who are purged must contact the Registrar to re-register and satisfy all financial obligations before attending class.
