Quilting Basics
Again this fall, we will begin class with some SHOW N TELL, bring some completed summer projects or items from past classes. Then l would like to do 30min. of a class project such as strip piecing, a stitch and flip on paper, mile-a-minute, and a 3 part placemat. At the end of the 5 weeks, you may pick one to take home and complete.
We will focus on The Perfect 4 Patch, batting, quilting and binding. All students are welcome to ask for assistance and to bring projects of their own to work on.
New work this year will be blocks known as Playful Petals, Attic Window, Speedy Pinwheels, and a 3Yard Quilt pattern. These are to broaden your repertoire of skills if you choose to try them.
